Protecting our Environment and Nature: A discussion with Manoj Kumar & Monish Ahuja!

“It’s time to wake up.

To take notice.

To raise our voices.

It’s time to build back better for People and Planet.

This World Environment Day, it’s Time for Nature.”

In this special chat on with Mr Manoj Kumar (director of Clean Technology Equipment Pty Ltd Australia) from Melbourne, Australia and Lt Col Monish Ahuja (Retd) (Managing Director of Punjab Renewable Energy Systems Private Limited [PRESPL]) from Mumbai, India, provide their views on “World Environment Day”!

Mr Manoj Kumar puts forth his views here:

World Environment Day puts focus on environment and how it affects people’s health and pledge for a cleaner, safer and sustainable planet. World Environmental day is celebrated each year on 5th June since 1974 to aware all of us to take a pledge and act to look after wellbeing of our earth, climate, the nature and all the living being. This year host country is Colombia in partnership with Germany and theme is it’s Time for Nature. That is focus on biodiversity.

On this World Environment day, we have a great message for everyone

“The foods we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink and the climate that makes our planet habitable all come from nature. This World Environment Day, it’s Time for Nature”

Last year, the host country was China and the theme was “Beat air pollution”. It is surprised to note that more than 7 million people die world wide due to air pollution. Air pollution is not only affecting the people’s life but also climate and all the living being on this earth.

Again, it is the sole responsibility of each individual globally to act each bit to make sure we are working to reduce all kinds pollution and emission to make our nature healthy and pollution free. Our regulatory bodies in all the part of world must take a oath to restrict any development outside guidelines of environmental protection. Focus on the generation and use of only clean and renewal energy would lead us into a growth with clean economy without any pollution/emission.

Finally, Start changing your habits and make them environment friendly. Be pro-environment, pro-energy conservation and pro-nature this World Environment Day. Make environmentally conscious choices this World Environment Day.
